    Wikipedia:

Wild Life is the debut album by Wings and the third studio album by Paul McCartney since the breakup of the Beatles. The album was recorded during July–August 1971 at Abbey Road Studios by McCartney and his wife Linda along with session drummer Denny Seiwell, whom they had worked with on the previous album, Ram, and Denny Laine, formerly of the Moody Blues. It was released by Apple Records on 7 December, in both the UK and US, to lukewarm critical and commercial reaction.

Just spinning this original vinyl as I burn a Roger Waters comp to cd.
Love this album and hope a deluxe box of this album comes out. I'd be happy with a 2 cd set the second cd being outtakes.

Love Mumbo, Bip Bop, Some People Never Know I love this whole album.
Wild Life Came after Ram two solid McCartney offerings. Hope you all enjoy the poll for Wild Life. :edthumbs:

Is it just me, or can you hear the sound of the tape heads starting to record at the beginning of the album? Rush to record the take?

Almost tempted to vote for every one of these tracks, but realized that would render my vote inconsequential, so went for 1, 4, 6, 7 and 8.

Good little album. Only the first two tracks are skippable. I voted for Tomorrow, the title track and Some People Never Know.

You didn't even let me vote for two of my top favorites! Seriously, Bip Bop Link is my favorite on the album.

"Mumbo", "Love Is Strange" and "Tomorrow" are the only songs on Wild Life I like, so those got my vote...

Unfortunately I never related to this album, and have tried many times. I felt that McCartney was capable of much more than he delivered during these years, and fortunately he did deliver later on (for a while).

My selected track is "Bip and Bop". I feel that favouring the 'novelty' song says a lot about this album. But I do genuinely like the song as a throw-away.

I could only choose "Dear Friend." Sorry fans - I can't get into this album at all.

Yes, that is the sound of an analog machine being turned on in the middle of a take.

I love the whole album, it has always been one of my top 3 or 4 McCartney LPs. Back in the '70s I used to skip Wild Life and Dear Friend, but now I love them both and think Dear Friend is one of his best.

"Tomorrow" is the only truly good song here.

I like "Some People" as well.

The rest varies from mediocre to crap...

Picked "Tomorrow" and "Dear Friend," though I will never understand this board's fascination with Wild Life. One of my least favorite Macca albums, along with Off The Ground and Driving Rain.
