Music is unquestionably the main focus of your life, and you spend a huge amount of time and money on your obsessions. A lot of people are in awe of you.

24 - not much applies for me except concerts and free jazz.

The one I most agreed with was
Been annoyed when everyone starts liking something you liked a year ago?
.......especially as to pre/post "Touch Of Gray" Grateful Dead. I was ridiculed (and proud of it) for liking the Grateful Dead in regular life (high school etc).......then after 1987, "Hey...remember me? You were right all along."

Same here. Can anybody tell me: what on earth is 33 1/3 book??? Does it have anything to do with what I am thinking?

In my defense, I did a lot of the things on the list when I was much younger.

To see what would happen I went back to the quiz and checked all 100 questions. (my real score was 24) Here's what came up:

These questions were funny and often true, but not snobby enough :) There should have been the following questions:
Do you own any vintage audio equipment?
Do you tell others that vintage is better than modern?
Do you argue about digital vs analog, or discuss listening fatigue?
Do you laugh at people with those Crosley record players?
Do you talk about black plastic crap?

These questions alone would have added another 5 points to my 35 :)

44/100. My score probably would've been higher but the questions related to digital music libraries kept my score down. I'm addicted to physical product.

    Q. 101. Have you ever completed an online quiz about your musical taste and proudly posted the result on an internet forum?

    Lol! ;)

Andy Smith .....Like a good pinch of snuff......

They got it wrong. Well intentioned, no doubt, but wrong. It should never have been re-set in the States. Major error. Cusack, cast & director I don't blame. The money men, I do. The book really does have much more honest feel to it. I doubt there's many Hoffmanites who are unaware of Nick Hornby's 'High Fidelity', but just on the off-chance you've yet to discover the tale, I beseech you - read the book first!

You’re a major music nerd, and most people in your life consider you to be an expert. You’re very committed, but there’s some lines you don’t cross.

There is no doubt that you’re waaaay into music, but you’re not TOTALLY intense about it. Like, you probably have other interests and a well-rounded life. There’s no shame in that!

I took it twice yesterday, first scored 68, then later on re-did it and somehow scored a 72. A lot of those 'have you ever' questions were a yes, but could have gone back 20 years. I wouldn't think of shaming anyone for what they listen to, except maybe bonehead country. I lost points for all of the festival stuff.
