Im pairing my MC275 with a pair of Dynaudios 25th anniversary (and a C2300 as a preamp); Im thinking to upgrade my speakers (better floorstanding speakers), looking for a faster bass mainly....any ideas or experiences?
I use to like a laid back presentation, neutral (I know it depends on the room), fast bass, detail....

I have a system featuring an MC275 and a C2300 preamp as well, and I'm very happy with the way they sound with my Legacy Focus 20/20 speakers. They are being used in a large room, which I believe does help the Legacy Focus speakers to sound their best.

Go Tannoy Dual Concentrics or the Arden2.

For the price i'd go for Altec 604s. You can still get them brand new.

To quote our host (from another thread) "Tannoy, Tannoy, Tannoy!".

My room is small, and my C2300 with 275 MK IV driving Cheviots create music that is magical.

I see a lot of comments about the pairing of the MC275 with Tannoy Speakers, interesting. I think I will try to have a listen of them. About Klipschorns, the same, everybody says they are magical speakers powered by McIntosh; anyway here in Spain is difficult to get a pair of Klispchonrs in very good condition.

Opposed to stand mounts? Harbeth M30.1 or SHL-5 IMHO would be difficult to best for $6,000ish.

But the MC275 will have enough power for the harbeths in a room of 20m2?

WIth 75W? No problem. I drive P3ESRs (83.5 dB) to jaw-dropping levels with 33W right now.

Ok....really I´m willing to buy something from Harbeth, so the SHL5 may be my decision ;) I´m also planning to buy a set of Gold Lions for the amp, let´s see. Appreciated for all your answers and kind help!
