Quite a few tracks to get excited about here for their SACD debut.
...But "Daniel" is the one that's beckoning me the most. It always irked me that "Don't Shoot Me..." was so criminally overlooked when the 2003 Universal EJ SACD's were released. Ditto "Caribou".

Put my pre-order in thru Amazon. I don't want to get burned like I did with the Wings Over America pre-order that was $90 and I hesitated. Next thing I knew the price jumped to $140+. :(

Really looking forward to these. I have quite a few Time-Life CDs already and these will sit right beside them.

I could see buying a couple of these Legends Comps, but I'm not sure what I think about it.

With many of these tracks already well represented on AF DCC and MFSL, I feel like the duplication here is not negligible.

Also with them not offering the full original track list due to licensing, seems against what would green light a project like this.

These are taking up monthly slots in my AF membership that could be studio albums of the same vintage.

Lastly the era lends itself to studio albums so I guess I would be a bit more excited by comps like these for 50's and 60's Rock n Roll era Timelife titles. Ones that were from more of a singles era. Either this or greatest hits by one artist.

Is anyone else on the fence about having these in their membership even if the sound will be exceptional?

Speaking of singles-- to quote the title of a great one from another era, stop making sense.

I'd prefer Audio Fidelity pursue this sort of comp to albums from second-tier acts, or albums from top-tier acts already remastered by MFSL or DCC.

I hope they do this entire Time-Life series!

I am on the fence. I find I don't play my multi-artist comps that much. Still, it is a SH/SACD and that is worth a lot.

My attitude is this: I want to hear Steve's masterings of these classic tracks. When I do, I often hear qualities and nuances I have never heard before...
