Yeah, I know the thread title reeks of hyperbole, but I really just wanted to trick all of you into checking this motivational "music" video out. :D

Words cannot express the level of "cringe" you will feel as you watch this. If you can get all the way to the end (there's even a rap!) then consider yourself a person with an extremely strong mind.

I made it all the way through, but I am now completely damaged. A part of my soul is forever gone. I feel shame and pity for our electronic media and culture. If there is a god, may she smite us down and destroy the world as soon as possible.... for our own sake. ;)

We should have heeded the advice of Bill Hicks when he so eloquently stated:

“Does anyone here work in advertising or marketing? Well if you do, when you get home take a gun and shoot yourself. No bull$hit, I'm not joking, just do it. I'm just sowing seeds, one day they may take root...”

So enjoy this bit of excrement and remember; this is just a sad reflection of our current popular "social media" culture and the corporate/advertising/entertainment industrial complex that controls it and promotes it.

Wow, that song is so killer! I'm thinking if we can replace the guy in the blue shirt with Fred Schneider from the B-52s and get whomever is the hot pop producer these days at the helm, why, it'll be at No. 1, with a bullet!

Now, somebody get me a cheeseburger, and the new Rolling Stone.

I am a bit surprised that the vocalist did not use any autotune. Considering the song's 'modern' topic, it's seems unusual that that she would sing 'old school' without the standard live pitch correction device that all the pros use these days.

    I gotta ask...

If this goes viral, and makes millions of dollars on iTunes... did they do what they set out to do? And are they therefore successful social media people?

Clowns have been ruining music since the beginning of time. So, either American pop culture was ruined a long time ago or it's still alive and kicking.

Her voice is terrible. Where's the damn autotune? :nyah:

Sorry, couldn't make it all the way. 2:53 was my limit. I did think the fact that so many audience members were video taping it was pretty funny.
