The Hunt, a depressing film but enjoyed it.

"Now You See Me" -- a fast-moving fun caper movie with an absurd twist at the end. Check your expectations, make some popcorn, turn off your logic switch and have a blast.

"American Hustle" -- what the heck? Not fun, and barely interesting. Halfway through it the wife and I looked at each other and said "what was the big deal about this movie?" Hugely over-rated film.

"Dallas Buyers Club" -- Matthew McConaughey absolutely deserved his best actor Oscar, his performance was compelling from start to finish.

Not sure why but I didn't expect to like it, so maybe the low expectations affected my perception, but I thought it was half decent, good popcorn film (tho we didn't eat any tonight). Yeah, some obvious plot flaws and the usual silliness with this kind of film but not so bad that it became a joke.

Knightriders was this morning's hippie movie. Watching this BD was the first time I've seen it I saw it at, I think, a drive-in. It's daffy hippie drama on bikes.

Girl Crazy - The last movie together for Rooney and Garland and IMHO the best. A Gershwin score, Tommy Dorsey and his orchestra, and the first movie rolls for June Allyson and Nancy Walker. One of my favorites.
