This has been a special show for me. Looking forward to the DVD set of the last season.

i look forward to watching the entire series again from the start. What sets this show apart for me is that underneath the raunchy fun there are well written characters who I care about.

I agree. And on top of that Hank Moody's artistic self-destruction makes sense. The stories grow from it and his luck runs hot and cold. In its own way it's realistic. Or that's how it seems to me.

Me too. Especially with Eastbound & Down gone. But I agree, Californication has had a very good run. I'm not sure what more there is to do, but I'm looking forward to the last season.

Is it just me or is this season REALLY bad? Like Laverne and Shirley in CA bad.

It's not the best . . . so far. They're laying the groundwork, it could take off.

The lost and found son could be a promising direction but not the retarded and annoying son.

My prediction? Hank's not really the father. I could be wrong.

We shall find out only in the end of the season, until then it's gonna drag.

Maybe. Ultimately even if it drags it's entertaining television for me. . . Hank, Charlie, Smurfette, et al: I like watching these people, I'll miss them.

Season 7 was some of the worst television I have ever watched. Confirmed.

I'm very happy that show is over. I'm not really sure why I watched every season as it was mor e or less the sane thing every show.

Very forgettable final season, the best aspect of which was very little Becca.

I wish I could defend this season, but it was the weakest.

hope you enjoyed it, because in my humble opinion 'californication' got progressively worse with each season, and the last season was basically dreadful.

But won't we all miss Stephen Tobolowsky in a speedo?

During our holidays we enjoyed a few marathon sessions of TV show watching. For example, we started and finished watching all episodes of Californication. It's been two days now since we finished and I'm sort of missing that 'ol cad Hank!!!

I liked season 2 the best. I really enjoyed Hank's relationship with Lew Ashby.

That is quite the task. I went to On Demand and watched the entire series, almost. Started 2 months ago and I still have 7 shows left. It is and may always be, my favorite TV show ever.

It will be hard watching the new X Files and not seeing Hank Moody. David is definitely more Moody than Molder.
