Some of the sounds he made reminded me of the Space Noise effect for the original Star Trek. It might have been produced in similar fashion?

I didn't hate it.

 

Enjoyed it a lot. Very groovy. And surprisingly musical and pleasant.

 

One of the records should have been Paradise Theater by Styx - with the track "Too Much Time On My Hands".
