Must be a mistake. Copies from Amazon proper (not marketplace sellers) are 100% genuine.

 

Just bought mine from Amazon, delivered today along with the US Albums boxset. The Amazon issue is the real deal. I had bought a pirated copy before when they had come out and there's no comparison. The knock-off was decent, but the genuine article is smart. Heavy card sleeves, decent little inner sleeves that are better than the rice paper versions you get with the pirate copy. The labelling is also correct, no spelling mistakes (oh yes...), and the print is clear.

I am assuming they were all also made in Japan too. I'd waited for ages to get the Mono Box at a decent price, and this kind of is (£161) when compared to the price five years ago (£200+). I didn't want to risk buying another dud again, so you pay for what you get.

The US set was official, but from Amazon Marketplace. Have to say, it was mint really, just minus the shrinkwrap. the discs were all untouched. Saved £30 off the full Amazon price and £60 off the shop retail (around £140-odd in Edinburgh).
