It means it has to include both, by my reckoning (WM, ES, ATMP, CFBD, LITMW, DH, ET).

I'd say ES is a cert. CFBD, as pointed out earlier, is more a Various Artists album, so...

If one IS excluded, then something else has to take its place ( a new Live in '74 perhaps?)

I am personally hoping Harrison re-recorded his vocal on the Dark Horse album at some point, that would be the best thing ever for this set, hell even if Dhani did it and we thought it was George I wouldn't care but welcome it because we still have the original Cd which sounds really good (Vocal aside) :)

But Dhani first announced the project in 2005!

(And he apparently said Wonderwall Music would be included, although that may have been the writer's inference.)

I'd like a 5.1 ATMP with the wall of sound made a rear wall so we can opt to just listen to it in 3.1

I hope that if this includes The Best of Dark Horse compilation, that it includes as bonus tracks some of the Beatles songs that George played on, like the song George repeatedly stated he was most proud to play on, "Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand".

I also hope that this set, or another, includes all the albums with vocals entirely re-recorded by Dhani, and with the guitar parts mostly replaced by Trey Anistasio.

Excellent! I'll be owning this set.

I have no problem with "Electronic Sound". In fact, I like that album (really). It should not be ignored and yes, it was a "Zapple" release but that's just a zappy nickname for "Apple", period. Will be nice having "Dark Horse" and "Extra Texture" in remastered form- properly, I hope.

Request for Dhani: Please include lots of extras- especially demos, unreleased songs and non-LP "B" sides! Thanks and have a groovy day! :pineapple:

What do you mean more George Beatle songs or songs by Lennon/McCartney ? Perhaps the set will come with a free cutting/seeds for a George Memorial Tree:laugh:

Why not ? We still have the original and if George recorded it around that time frame his voice would still be shot so it would have been pointless :)

Do you mean "The Best of George Harrison"? - that was after Apple, so doubtful.

There's the demo version of the title track with George in good voice. Would hope that was included as a bonus. Even better, match up the vocal from that to the studio instrumental tracks.

Trying to make Ex-Beatles out of Beatles kids is not what I call a good idea.

That didn't stop George Martin with "Strawberry Fields Forever".

Not quite the same thing. GM didn't put the voice (in one key) OVER the backing in a different key. It can be done nowadays, but it's never ideal. Silly idea anyway, just include the demo as-is, as a bonus track. As for getting Danii to re-record the vocals... I want a GEORGE Harrison box set.

I get what you're saying. Even if this could be done effectively, I wouldn't want it to take the place of the demo. Definitely include the as-is demo, whatever Frankenstein-type (or his sister Phyllis-type) creations they might attempt.

Yes, but the Beatles had already recorded "Sour Milk Sea" as a White Album outtake.

It's odd that he would revisit it.
