After reading the recent threads on both albums it struck me that both albums have some really good tracks and maybe others tracks that polarize opinion. I'll post mine when i have had a good listen again to both albums. I also like a few on each but rarely put either album on. This might get me to listen more to the ones i like.

We can give ourselves 77 minutes for one CD i believe.

    3) Tea For One

    Thanks

    Alternate upbeat with more subdued
Lead each side off with anthems
    Rinse, repeat

My two favorite albums by Led Zeppelin.
    This song is mind blowing.

    I wouldn't change a thing.
That said, I think it's ludricous how these albums always get downplayed.
LZ didn't end with Physical Graffiti, folks!

Ludicrous? Wow, never knew that a counter opinion had to be foolish and unreasonable. Afterall, there are some good reasons why some of us rate this album lower than the earlier ones.

Sorry. I don't think these two albums mesh well at all.

Presence is perfect as is. It flows very well.

In can see mixing In Through The Out Door with side two of Coda. You can even throw in "Walter's Walk" since the Plant recorded the vocal in 1982. That makes more sense to me.

If I had to combine the two, it would have to be a 6 song vinyl LP.

    Side One:
    Achilles Last Stand
    Fool in The Rain
    For Your Life

    Side Two:
    Nobody's Fault But Mine
    All My Love
    Tea For One

But personally, I'd leave Presence exactly as it is. In Through The Out Door however, could do with a slightly different track listing.

    Side One:
    In The Evening
    Fool In The Rain
    Hot Dog
    Darlene

    Side Two:
    Ozone Baby
    All My Love
    Wearing And Tearing
    I'm Gonna Crawl

I know I've included "Hot Dog", but what can I say? I kinda like the throwaway, country feel of it. I Certainly like it much more than "South Bound Saurez" or "Carouselambra" anyway.
