I decided that walking would be more sane - however, I don't quite follow what happened next. I left the house, some cool music played, a woman that I don't know at all dragged me into her kitchen for some disconnected sex and all of a sudden I was dropping the DVD into the return slot (that's not a euphemism by the way).

Still, on the upside, they had The Transporter 2 available.

Quite possibly the worst remake in the history of motion pictures. I'm not exaggerating....

Edward Woodward declined to be involved in the remake, but was impressed with the script.

The Raid 2 - incredibly violent, superb fight choreography, 2 1/2 hours of almost non stop top level action, it doesn't get much better than this.

Saw 2 movies over the weekend. Magic In the Moonlight and the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. I enjoyed both.

Saw a 35mm double feature of THE GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN and THE INCREDIBLE MR. LIMPET at the Somerville Theatre
in Boston, part of their "Affordable Family Film Series". Two flicks for $3, with pristine prints (a 2002 one for CHICKEN and an
original IB Technicolor studio print from 1964 for LIMPET) that allowed us to re-experience how these looked the weekend they
opened back in the early 60s. Good-sized crowed that ranged from toddlers to senior citizens, all of whom were really into it. Tons
    of fun.

I saw Lucy, and boy, whoever wrote that was high on something special. Great ideas in that movie. Had me leaving the theatre thinking I could use more of my brain, lol. Ill be picking that one up on Blue Ray.

I posted this over in Post Something Random, but I don't think it got enough exposure :

A boy can grow up, and become Robert DeNiro.
As that man grows older, he becomes Marlon Brando.
He fathers James Caan, John Cazale, Al Pacino, and adopts Robert Duvall.
John Cazale and Al Pacino later rob a bank.
James Caan becomes a professional thief.
Robert Duvall does whatever the hell he wants to.
