Uh - what the hell is this?
    4. Beware My Love [John Bonham Version]

WHAT. THE. HELL? Is this a known thing that people have heard? If it's as good as it sounds, I might actually pay the goofy $213 Amazon price. :p

Now where does "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reggae" fit? It was supposed to have been recorded in 1975 or 1976? Or will it go on the Back To The Egg reissue (Coming Soon in 2016???) since Rudolph came out as the B-side to Wonderful Xmas in 1979?

Paul's official Facebook & Twitter accounts have now confirmed this!

What will you do if the cards are retitled to just say "Coming to the Paul McCartney Archive Collection", Arnie?

Curious to know the running times on the DVD bonus features. Hopefully the live bits won't be like five minutes long.

So I guess the true name of the Speed album is "At The Speed Of Sound". Not "Wings At The Speed of Sound"?

If you watch the video for Speed of Sound, they flip through the book and stop on a section where Paul is being interviewed about each of the bonus tracks. One such song featured on the page is "Beware My Love" with Bonham. From what Paul says, this is Paul on piano and Bonham on drums. Wow. That sounds freaking amazing.

The WATSOS bonus are better...the Venus and Mars extras are feeble.

    Wow.
    The new sets look incredible.
And I like the new design of the covers.
Plus it's a nice touch to see repro'd lyrics and memorabilia included. Much like a cross with the big boxes.
The McCartney Archive Collection is setting the bar pretty high.

I have never heard of this, and I really hope that it is what it sounds like. I know that Bonham was a Wings fan.

Great spot, that confirms that it is in fact Bonham on drums. That is brilliant news.

Not overly generous with the rarities. He seems to have done away with bonus online content. On the plus side it's nice to see the official website acknowledge Wings as a standalone entity. Enough of this "just an extension of solo Paul" nonsense

I'm upset the Venus & Mars set doesn't come with yellow and red marbles.

Well, we certainly didn't expect Bonham to be on vocals, did we? ;)

    Hi!
Yes, JB was really close to the McCartney in the 70's. It's been reported a long ago about his participation on a few other recordings, including a C Moon jam back in early 70's.

Alright folks, how soon before we can begin our mind-numbing discussion of the reissues to follow these?

PS: I'm not sure now wether it was John Bonham or John Paul Jones on C Moon. But there you go. All members of Zep were friends with the McCartneys.

So it looks like Speed of Sound has the handwritten lyrics for Beware My Love (just above the 3 discs), She's My Baby (with the horse head - hmmm?), Silly Love Songs (left of that one). Maybe that's Must Do Something About It tucked under the edge of the book? Maybe Let Em In on the small sheet above Beware My Love? And Love in Song on the V&M set...

Any other guesses for people who want to strain their eyes? ;)
