I had a $70 credit for opening up a CC with them.

I've heard a bunch of No Quarter alt mixes and they were all quite awesome.

Can't wait! Love the album, TSRTS & Celebration Day versions all - the concert film of the latter shows just how vital JPJ was and is to the whole Zeppelin sound.

I preordered the Deluxe editions on Soundstage Direct. Last time I went with Bullmoose and all three boxes arrived with some degree of damage including seam splits on the records!

    Pre-Ordered.

I think they are saving some of the more complete different song outtakes for Coda.

Page has said he is using stuff that isn't on bootlegs, but Jennings Farm Blues has been out for ages, so I am hoping PG has Swan Song, the 1st take of In My Time of Dying, etc.

While alternate takes and demo tracks are interesting and all, I would much prefer a really cool unreleased full concert or something that may be more fun to listen to straight through. I'll pick up the vinyl since this is one I don't have the Classic version. I do have a Pecko Duck that'll be an interesting comparison.

I wonder if these mixes are 40+ years old or if Jimmy "created" them last year........

I am very interested in hearing the Song Remains the Same Guitar Overdub Reference Mix and the OTHAFA Guitar mix backing track. They should be fascinating to say the least.

I am ready to pre-order these! I am not seeing them available on amazon (2lp tri-fold deluxe editions). Most likely will order through bull moose or sound stage direct. Who has faster shipping between the 2?

I think it will be it's own release as well. It's the only one that I'll get the Super Deluxe version of.

I couldn't agree more, & that is the reason that I only bought the 2CD version of "Led Zeppelin" so far, and by the looks of things that may be the only one that I wind up purchasing.

I haven't purchased any of the deluxe editions so far. Since IV is one of my all time favorites, I was hoping for the remastered album, the book/collectors box, and maybe another 2 to 4 LPs covering one or two kick **s concerts around that time......I would've jumped at it. I just don't have the time any more to listed to alternate takes and demo tracks.

For those of you bought the super deluxe box sets on the first three are you happy with them? I could not afford them at the time and was thinking of jumping in with IV.

I will be getting the 2cd sets. The difference in price was only 2 bucks between 2cd set and 1cd version (no brainer for me).

Pre-Ordered, as well. Cannot wait. Some of you complain wayyy too much. You should be grateful for these remasters.

For me the awful packaging of the 2 discs isn't worth the minor price difference to get the 2 disc version, especially the vast majority of the time for me, alt takes and rough mixes are a once or twice listen.

There's a reason why they aren't finished product. I feel that the single disc is better even if the 2 disc is only $2 more.... addition by subtraction for me.

I'm surprised that The Song Remains the Same doesn't get the instrumental treatment -- as I recall, it was originally intended as an instrumental, or am I wrong?
    edit: Wiki says that's correct:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Song_Remains_the_Same_(song)

Also surprised they didn't go with the Bombay recordings of Four Sticks and Friends. Not that I'm disappointed about that -- I've never cared for those takes.
