New Morning SACD from Mofi due (when??)

Thats right, just had an email from Spin CD stating that Mr. Bob Dylans 1970 opus New Morning is coming to SACD by Mofi for £26.99, dosnt say if any vinyl is forthcoming. I guess other vendors will be selling a bit cheaper. Gotta get me a copy of this honey.

I noticed the Vinyl MFSL New Morning is shipping today.

 

I'm surprised and ... pleased.

Just got my email saying my MOFI New Morning vinyl is waiting for my pickup. I live within walking distance of Music Direct, something I try to forget lest I go there too often...

 

Look at it this way. If you live with in walking distance. You will be able to save on taxi fares.

 

Now just hoping for Self Portrait on MFSL.

 

Of course, the SACD is listed by Music Direct as TBA. Maybe next year.

 

The new LP is pretty darn good, BTW. MoFi is sure doing good work these days...

I made this thread. I read on Spin CD website that the SACD was due for release. I guess they got it wrong. Therefore I got it wrong, very sorry for confusion.

Well, the SACD is available for pre-order, at least. Lately, MFSL has been releasing LPs before SACDs. There must quite a back-up at the SACD pressing plant in Austria.

 

The local shop had a couple New Mornings, however, I opted instead for the BoTT vinyl instead. I wanted to check here on sound quality, etc.

The remastered CD from a couple years ago sounded OK, but had the obvious tape hiss running through much of it. Anyone have info on how this MOFI stacks up? I'm talking the vinyl version.

 

My BEFORE THE FLOOD MFSL vinyl set has arrived, too.
