It's so nice to have friends - both with talent and who really love you :agree:

A dear friend delivered this to me today - a record storage unit for my music room - which he also built!
Florescent lighting doesn't help with colour but none-the-less, here it is.

Made out of 3/4 inch maple with rounded maple hardwood edging...and hammered black steel accent hardware. Slowly the room is coming together.

Empty for now but after a good cleaning I'll slowly get those records out of boxes and in this unit!!

I am grateful!!! Just thought I'd share this terrific day with you.

I had an opportunity to aquire such a lovely shelving unit for records a few years ago. Long story but ultimately I had to pass on it. Regrets.

That is sweet. Thanks for sharing the pics. I think that's good for a whole case of beer. Really, really good beer.

    Thanks!
He's not much of a beer drinker but your point is well taken - having him over for dinner this Saturday.
The best steaks...all the trimmings and my wife's homemade baking. Great wine with dinner.

And a very special bottle of Spiced Rum for him to take home!!
