He should get someone to record it on a handheld mid 60s cassette recorder and release that, except for the final song

I'd guess I know more about the Beatles than the vast majority of the "general public", but I wouldn't have gotten that joke a few years ago - I'm pretty sure I only learned about it recently.

And I'm sure I learned it here! :)

Even though he is from Liverpool (brrrr...), I'm sure he'll comment on it being "a bit chilly" again. ;)

I had Niner season tickets for 25 years and probably went to 100 Giants games there. It's a sh*tty place for everything.

So excited about the upcoming show!

  15. See you there!!!!

BTW, it'll be a concert much in need for many in the aftermath of the loss of Robin Williams, especially here where Robin lived and participated in life.

It will be extra emotional for many.

I feel you on this. We all need a great concert to pull us out of the funk we’re in after Robin’s passing. I know I do.

Why is that? If that was a reference to Robin Williams then you owe his fans on the forum an apology.

I’ll be going to this concert, and I’m excited. I know the chances are very slim, but I want Ringo to show up. I looked online and he doesn’t have any more tour dates until October, so he’s free. Has anyone heard any rumblings about where he may be tomorrow? SF Bay Area, perhaps? ;)

Well, it happens everyday, so it's always too soon.

On topic: I'm not that excited about the concert yet, cause I've got Deep Purple tonight. Best 48 hour period in a long time. lol

Apparently Paul has posted some special message about Candlestick on his site. I can't view it, but would like to know the gist of it from someone who can.

I can't watch it, either, but it's only a 37-second video, so there can't be much to it. It's probably Paul saying he can't wait to play Candlestick.

It's not much, but the webpage the video is listed on says, "Each show on the tour is special, but one we're especially looking forward to is Thursday's gig at San Francisco's Candlestick Park. Paul's 'Farewell to Candlestick: The Final Concert' will mark the last-ever concert in the iconic stadium, also the venue where The Beatles played their final concert date on 29th August 1966."

They are "especially looking forward to" it? I wonder what kind of treat those of us attending will be in for...
