When I read the thread title the first name that came to mind was Macy Gray! That said I voted for Gilberto, Mitchell, Simon and Springfield. I prefer McVie to Nicks. Juliette Lewis. Jann Arden. Jennifer Herrema from Royal Trux. Natalie Merchant. Margo Timmins.

I've got a thing for female voices that sound like they've been weathered by cigarettes and bourbon, hence Bonnie and Kim.

I agree - but the poll didn't ask for great singing voices. Personally, I think Aretha and Janis are great singers, but I would never think of them as sexy, which is why I didn't list them. Having said that, different people find different voices sexy. There is no "better" or "greatest" involved in this poll - it's all very much a matter of personal taste.
