What do you like better about the stereo or 5.1 mix?

 

Correct (I already had the Eastwood since 09).

 

So it looks and sounds good ? I only have a VHS-from-TCM copy here.

 

I'm sure it looks better than VHS. Sound was mostly dialog but I didn't notice any problems.

Yeah, I live by Blu-ray.com, go there dozens of times a day what with many subscribed threads alerting me they've been posted in. I just wanted your opinion, since I respect your taste, over the last 4 years. Thanks, found the cheapest copy to be on eBay.

 

I did give you my opinion, but I just thought I send a link from someone more "qualified" but it didn't seem to negate what I wrote. My taste are usually classified as eclectic but I thank you for the respect offered.

 

Most of my library is eclectic, but then it is mine.

Tracking # from Best Buy-UPS Mail Innovations showed nothing for days / I Googled the number, found it was missing two digits at the beginning (92 ?) the package's destination showed my zip, and just over 2 lbs., so it could be mine ? / last activity was the wee small hours of last Sunday in Philadelphia / BB wants me to wait 12 days before resolving ( refund ? reship ? ) / USPS wants me to wait 14 days.
Meanwhile, I'm out $104.00, because I wanted to save 50% on some Criterions...

The postwoman just delivered it after the local post office held it hostage for 4 days according to the tracking info.

Hi Mike, UPS-Mail Innovations is a third party company. They pick the item up from Best Buy in this case, process it at their own facility, ship it to the nearest USPS bulk mail center to you, then it is in the USPS system. The tracking will not work until it is in the USPS facility. It is cheaper for Best Buy, but it is slower and people do not like the tracking not working for a couple of days. When I worked for a company that used UPS-MI, orders that shipped on Fridays seemed to take an extra 3 days and not just the two days from the weekend. We did not lose any more packages using UPS-MI then we did using USPS directly.

 

Thanks, I understand all that, UPS shows it already handed off to USPS...that's where it's been stalled since last Sunday morning.

 

The stuff we shipped were usually 7-10 business days.

 

And the second class mail or whatever it was would seem to skip tracking check points. All I am saying is your item is most likely not lost. Five or six business days depending on how you count today would be considered a quick shipping using UPS-MI.

 

They're discussing this in church over the next few Sundays
