Inspired by the current A-ha "album by album" thread on the forum, my album of the day is A-ha's Hunting High and Low (an old childhood favorite...haven't listened to this in ages).

Had an unplanned day off work due to a really bad toothache. Heavily medicated currently listening to Hypnotic Eye. Sounds even more amazing thru the haze of prescription narcotics.
Previous spins were Traffic -John Barleycorn Must Die and The Cars - Candy-O.

    Today's selections:

Yes Talk (again, thread related and mostly just playing "Endless Dream" several times since I don't really care for the rest of the album much)
Yes Keystudio (thread related again, but enjoyable this time :righton:)
. . . and now playing James Brown Roots Of A Revolution. This is some hot stuff.

On deck I think is Brinsley Schwarz Nervous On The Road.

Today it's all about the new Blonde Redhead Barragán. Gonna be spending a lot of time with this one over the next few days and weeks, maybe months. Very nice, laid back and atmospheric, subtle textures throughout.
