Poll: What is your favorite song from The Beatles psychedelic period?

Soooo hard to choose, but I picked Tomorrow Never Knows

 

I went with She Said She Said, but Rain is right up there, along with Strawberry Fields Forever. John wrote some really great "Trippin'" music.

 

I Am the Walrus is my favorite, but I love everything from the psychedelic years.

But, I got to give it up for "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Within You, Without You", and "Tomorrow Never Knows".

 

THE WORD was pretty psychedelic way back when psychedelics were still legal...at least The Thirteenth Floor Elevators thought it was.

My current favorite song recorded during the Beatles' psychedelic period is "Big Sky" by The Kinks.

But, for purposes of this poll, I went for the obvious and voted for "A Day In The Life."

I don't care what y'all say, "Blue Jay Way" is my favorite of their psychedelic tunes.

 

Why, the answer to this poll is "Baby, You're a Rich Man" of course! A triumph from beginning until close to the end when the unkind ad-libbing takes place.

 

Tough call between Rain and Penny Lane. But I vote for Rain in almost every Beatles poll so I gave the nod to Penny Lane

It's one of their best.
Fantastic song.
It's just as good if not slightly better than Strawberry Fields.

It's All Too Much may be the most underrated

Happiness is a Warm Gun has a psychedelic tinge and it is great

 

Where's the most psychedelic thing they ever did? "Revolution 9!"

 

Lots of good ones to choose from, but I have to go with "Strawberry Fields Forever" as it really presents the ultimate and personal favorite of mine from The Beatles catalogue.
In my humble opinion, it is one of the best songs ever.

Doesn't mean it is listenable, and that track IMHO is a total waste of space, YMMV.

 

Penny Lane is probably my all-time favorite Beatles song, so I voted for it - but it's really not that psychedelic, is it?

I know it's outside of your timeline, but I have always thought Dear Prudence is pretty psychedelic... and it's my favorite Beatles song.
