Because my children are educated solely through The Beatles and if the typo isn't fixed, they will have to be taught that the new spelling must replace the old.

You clearly have never seen a picture of Mr Fremer's audition room at home for the audio gear he demoes. Records are thrown everywhere including all over the floor.

When I wrote Apple about whether or not wed get the authentic genitalia or safety copies they were silent on the subject. Always so hush hush. Oh well, its the Beatles, enough said. Thank goodness I dont have to open that poster up to fake genitals.

Im going to take my copy to the next Paul concert and have him insert an "e" with a black marker. Instant collectible!

In the video at 4:04 he says the US Mono MMT has a different version of Blue Jay Way. I didn't know that. Is he right about that?

So "Los Angeles" is missing an "e." So much for analog preserving all the information in a recording.

No. It's just the mono mix with a few things missing that can be heard in stereo, f.e. the short backwards vocals.

No less impressive than a young guy getting excited about a new release of new music.

But more impressive than the overuse of idiotic emoticons. :bigeek:

They'll fix the error and then the first wave of box sets with the typo will increase in value.

Yes. Because the 15 people on earth that care about such things will start a speculative bidding war.

Because it's a release that he and most everyone else never thought would see the light of day?

Because it's a release that might finally be worth it in term of quality for money spent?

Because as a critic that's had first shot and first listen of the good and mostly bad audiophile reissues he might be able to give a good report on these?

Because as a long-time Beatles fan he might really enjoy the albums?

All impressive factors if you ask me.
