She loves our BC-13 blue box. Absolutely adores it; it's her first real experience with the Beatles albums, as opposed to the singles on the radio. She's actually a huge fan of the lads now but i just know she won't care about mono and stereo.

For the record, I'm not as sad a sack as I'm making myself out to be, it's just that I'm always buying music and this is a MAJOR purchase that won't be overlooked. Hell, I'll be spinning this set non-stop

 

Just pulled the trigger from Soundstage Direct--with the free shipping and no sales tax, it just made sense.

 

Bah! Tell her "The same reason why you need all of those stupid pairs of shoes you never wear. How many feet do you have anyway?"

that was really good...my wife has about 200-300 pairs of shoes and I have no idea how many purses...that said...I have about 8 guitars she doesn't know about and a vinyl monkey on my back

Are the blow-it-outta-here folk supposed to be shipping on the 9th...or shipping it to (hopefully) arrive on the 9th?

 

Blowitoutahere informed me they'd ship mine ON 9/9/14.

FWIW, the couple of times I've email them, they responded within 24 hours or less. And they've been helpful. Since there are 6 days until zero hour, perhaps they might be receiving more inquiries...

I also asked about their periodic email notifications regarding the preordered - out of stock item:
"Sorry for the bombarding emails, their automatically generated any time
an order is on back order even if it is a pre-order, we are aware of the

Gracias - they have sent so many emails that I can't remember their content anymore!

 

I went ahead and ordered next day shipping on Blowitoutahere for the box. All I've gotten so far since yesterday afternoon is order confirmation. Even if I get it the 10th, I'm OK with that. We'll see...

 

I assume I will be waiting a few days from mine from them. As long as I get it, I can wait!

 

Ended up cancelling my order with Amazon Canada and went with Elusive Disc. Hoping to get the box sooner for basically the same price.
