The classic melodrama starring Jeff Bridges, Robin Williams and Mercedes Ruehl in her Oscar-winning performance has been confirmed for release on Criterion Edition blu-ray in 2015 by its director, Monty Python's Terry Gilliam...:goodie:

If I am not mistaken, Criterion has always released this title from LD & now bluray. I've have tried very hard to watch this film. Just not a favorite of mine. But I know a lot of people do.

Great news ! I can now upgrade from my VHS tape to a Criterion. That doesn't happen every day.

Also, my BuyBacks pays for my old VHS tapes, so I just added this to my Sell List.

    Thanks Luke.

This is GREAT news. The LD Criterion edition of this film was the last reason I had for not giving away my LD player.

  8. Sounds good. I saw a release of Criterion's Dec list of new blu-ray titles. The avatar for the ad was of Gilliam's Time Bandits, but when you clicked the link every title has a date for release EXCEPT Time Bandits which is (still) listed as OOP. Wha?!?!?!

I'm confused- is there a date for TFK?

Great news. I have the LD and remember that the commentary was interesting.
