Interested to hear how it sounds from people who have this vinyl set.

The vinyl sounds good, but there is not a night-and-day improvement over the CD. The two formats sound pretty similar as I recall.

Isn't the vinyl mastered from the 16/44.1 CD files?

  5. The vinyl sounds great- I haven't heard the cd.

the vinyl box sounds great - i have CD also - vinyl sounds better but that's personal preference and all that - by the way this is one of those alternate sets where there are alternate versions on it that I like better than the cuts on the original albums...........my favorite bootleg series by dylan..........

My vinyl sounds great, however, I believe it's sourced from the same digital source as the CD. A lateral move for the most part, in which case I go vinyl.
