Led Zeppelin Remasters in 2014 to include 2nd disc of bonus material (Pt6)

$9 is what Wal Mart has it for. I saw LZII there tonight.

 

Being that they are replicas to some extent, I going with the double CD group.

 

I got mine today and i'm happy with the sound, Great low end . looking forward to next releases

I had the same experience.
But it was on a very short listening session of I, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You.
In terms of tonality, I was surprised when I realized that the new remasters are closer to the Marino/Page remaster than to the Diament.

 

I'm excited, but I didn't see the gatefold demonstrated at all in that video. It's going to retain the gatefold sleeve, right???

 

I haven't followed along but are the UK and North American LP's the same? Specifically the deluxe versions.

You would think so. The unboxing videos for the first three didn't show gatefolds either. It must just be the way their video graphics have been designed.

 

Makes sense that the videos aren't necessarily showing the actual physical product. I guess I didn't pay much attention to the videos on the first sets.

Tip, in the UK Amazon have the 2 LP Deluxe version of IV available as a pre-order for £16.99 ( today 9th October) which is only £1 more than the single LP from Amazon UK.

I'd love to have the full 1975 Earls Court show as the extra content for Physical Graffitti. A 4-disc release for the masses!

 

I'm excited only about the bonus material. The rest of the material I have had on one good pressing or another for a very long time. I am not dying to hear Over The Hills, nor Black Dog, or any of the well known key tracks. But info enjoy listening to new rough mixes and alt takes.

It really seems strange to me how many folks need these albums in their collections and have never owned good copies. I must be getting very old very fast. It's odd ain't it.

"Rain Song" available at iTunes. I like the sound of the drums. There's still piano in it afaict. I only listened to the audio sample.
