"With A Little Help From My Friends" on a 1970 BBC broadcast by recent Beatle ex-employee James Taylor. There are small allusions to his then-secret heroin habit in the later chorus with "I get high with a little help from my friend", and the slightly chilling "I just may die with a little help from my friend".

Yes did a cover of I'm Down. It appeared on the YesYears box set, from a concert in the late 70s.

I really like The Stereophonics' version of Don't Let Me Down from the I Am Sam soundtrack. The Vines doing I'm Only Sleeping from that album is pretty great, too.

Oh, and Eddie Vedder's version of You've Got To Hide Your Love Away. The I Am Sam soundtrack really is something special.

Hey, I was at that show too! Not that I was a Dead fan, but some Deadhead fans dragged me along. It was a fun time!

Sort of describes me too. So glad I went though. Who knew that was so close to the last chance to ever see them?

Yes, Jerry died not long after this show, huh? Pittsburgh was their 2nd or 3rd to the last gig they ever did with him. It was my one and only time seeing the Dead, so I'm glad I went too.
