Wow, this thing is finally out after months of speculation and everybody has stopped talking!

Have we all moved on to Ringo now?

 

After all the bitching and whining around here, I wanna read more reviews and see more pics. It sure seems like the general paranoia over it was, largely unfounded.

 

I'm waiting to see if HDtracks has HiRez downloads of the albums. They have "Early Takes", so there is a precedent. (And the Macca Archives are there too.)

 

Ok, I've seen the center gatefold for LITMW for 30+ years now, but it wasn't until seeing the video (at about the :13-:15 second mark) where I noticed George wearing a gun on his right hip.

Anyone else a little surprised by that? It's actually (barely) visible in the photo below, but it's vividly clear in the youtube clip.

Amazon Logistics are really taking their time today. 4pm and still no delivery.

 

Sadly, when I zoom in on the posted picture, I can only see a few pixel-squares.

 

I don't think it was reported here yet, but "I Don't Care Anymore" is slightly longer on the new CD than it was on the 1974 single. The tune goes to its natural ending, then you can hear George say "very nice, Tony".

The Apple Years has disappeared from the UK iTunes Store. The individual albums are still there, though. Is this just a mistake or … ?

Edit: I'm guessing it's being updated to include the iTunes LP like in the US listing.
