First Phillip Seymour Hoffman, then Robin Williams, and now this.

 

Sad news.
He was just on the show last week talking about his handler, Jon, leaving him and moving away.
Then two days later, he is gone.
Bababouie Eric !!

 

I love that guy,miss him already....sigh

 

Stern did a very nice tribute to Eric the, uh, Little Actor this morning. I was amazed to see even CNN picked up the story:

Name another Howard Stern wack-packer who would get this much publicity... unless they became terrorists and started shooting up a playground or something.

I was appalled that longtime Stern sidekick Robin Quivers opened the show by saying she had no idea Eric had died over the weekend. Does she never actually check the news on the internet over a weekend?

 

Nobody bothered to contact her and she was out of town.

 

I was appalled to, but not the least surprised. I'm in the camp that finds Robin to be self-centered, lazy and as well documented, an off-the-charts narcissist. I really didn't expect her to do anything related to the show over the weekend (such as check hers or the show's Twitter account). I wonder if something is going on. Though she was on, she wasn't in the studio last week.
