Conquest Of Space, 1955 DVD is now spinning

What a lovely space sci/fi flick! It has shockingly good visual quality, I'd love to see this on a blu ray, the DVD looks wonderful. A great George Pal production, and well done all things considered. A cool story line with biblical implications and deep thoughts of man and his place in the universe.

I always loved "The Wheel"!

 

I always felt that the visuals were pretty impressive as a kid and given what they had to work with at the time. The script, acting and direction....not so much more b-movie or z-movie level material.

Still, it's good you enjoy it!
