  1. I'll also say Black Tie, White Noise seems a bit underrated to me. Not quite on my top-10 Bowie list, but I've got a soft spot for it, ever since I got a promo of it back in college at the top-40 station I worked at on-air.

Buddha has it's moments too, and is one I also like better than most early Bowie (pre-1975). Total apples and oranges, I know -- only mentioned to bolster my "I like post-'Tin Machine' Bowie better than pre" credentials. :D

It was a tough call, since I do like Earthling and Black Tie very much too!

Black Tie White Noise is my favorite Bowie Album. And The Next Day was so full of nice surprises that it's easily my second favorite.

  10. Yeah, I guess I'm not one of the cool kids, because Hours... really does it for me. It's so lush, that one, with tons of melody. Oh, there's lots to love about all of his post-1980 music, but I had to pick, and that one just sticks to my ribs like no other.

I like selected tracks from both albums. The best tunes from each would make a really good single album.

    My picks:

Reality -- SACD & 2 disc set with the live (full album) DVD.
    Hours -- 3D cover

No need to apologize, Tin Machine were a terrific project. Too bad we won't ever see Bowie doing something like that again:(

Yeash, Reality has some some really good songs. A few more and it would really be something. No too fond of "Looking for Water", "Reality", "She'll Drive the Big Car" and perhaps one cover version would have been enough, though both are good.
