:doh:Of course I meant Save Us.

It sounds nothing like the Queen song!

I don t see much similariyy between Hell to pay and Save us- none att all to be honest-,maybe some melody-parts are similar to guitarriff in Save us but imo they are very different from each other

"Jon, a young wanna-be musician, discovers he’s bitten off more than he can chew when he joins an eccentric pop band led by the mysterious and enigmatic Frank."

[IMG] I'm not so sure. :)

Okay, now I've listened to it myself, while 'Demons Dance' isn't the rapid, bouncy Fats Domino-ish song it seemed from the soundcheck song, it's fantastic in its own right. Chockfull of hooks, a kind of raw playfulness we don't see often (on record) any more by McCartney. This should have definitely made the cut for the record. With a strong, 100% unpolished, live and direct, McCartney vocal, which also is a rare thing post-'Chaos And Creation'. Suddenly you can just imagine 90's or even late 60's Macca singing this song.

Although "Demons Dance" is unique in its own way there are some shades of former McCartney tracks, especially "Little Woman Love", "Lunchbox" and a bit of delicious "Flaming Pie".

People think these bonus cuts are good and should have made the album. The funny thing is, if Paul did use them, and left off the two worst songs, right now, we'd be getting some disappointing bonus tracks!

(My vote would be I Can Bet and Looking At Her, btw. My friend and I agree that the second half of the album can really drag, or in his case, the b-side, since he only has it on vinyl)

I love that we're all fans and yet we all love something different. For me, the second half of the album is FAR better than the first (and that's even accounting for Hosanna!)

I love "I Can Bet" -- a catchy hit single if there ever was one. For me, the two "worst songs" on NEW would be "Appreciate" and "Road" - in that order.

    Personally I think
The first half of New is brilliant
    The mid-part is wonderful
    The last part is stunning
    And the bonus-tracks equally great
    But thats me

Forget all that. What matters is the color. So, which color of the cover art do you like best?:

The orange/pink of the regular CD?
The purple/violet of the Deluxe set?
The blue for the upcoming Collector's Edition?

I like the orange/pink (although I only have it on the back of the vinyl) but I think the purple/violet looks more, um, sophisticated. (Not sure if that's the right word.)

I would like to see this continuum of version names played out to its natural conclusion.

After "regular", "deluxe" and "collector's edition", how about ...

    "Obsessed Fan Edition"
    "Stalker Edition"
"I'm Getting a Restraining Order Edition"

I'm waiting for the Zen Edition: two blank CDRs in a digipak with a line art version of the artwork and a set of crayons...
