I'm a big fan of "Songs for a Tailor" and "Harmony Row", along with his work with Cream. RIP.

The next 10 to 20 years will be tough for fans of this golden era of rock n' roll music. We're fortunate to have shared the planet with so many giants for this short blip in time. RIP, Jack.

Oh man, this is awful. R.I.P., Maestro. You were a musical giant in every way.

I'm not surprised at the news though. Whenever I hear of someone getting a liver transplant as Bruce did, I think there's a 50/50 chance that they won't make old bones. Not that I have any medical expertise with which to make this judgment, it just seems like a serious procedure that bears risk even if the organ is accepted.

I grabbed an autographed cd on his site before they all disappear.
It will be another of my cherished item.
    My condolences to his family.

Beyond sad...Jack was a genius and one of my musical heroes. RIP. Was just listening to his album "Jet Set Jewel" the other day. Can't think of many musicians who have had such an impressive and varied career as he has.

Sad to hear he's gone. I am grateful that I saw him with one of Ringo's All-Starr bands.

Please folks, make sure you are signed up as a doner. The additional years he got were due to the generosity of organ doners, and there are far too many people on the waiting lists.

i woke up in a rare cloudy mood and thought it may have been a dinner i ate last night. could have been a genius leaving the building. what a loss. whenever i would put on one of his solo releases, like the ones he concentrated on his piano work
i was just amazed at his musicianship. he was so the real deal. there is a nice documentary floating around on dvd of him that was a joy to watch. gotta dig that out today and visit it again.

This is such bad news. He was my number one music man. Saw him six times in concert, met and talked to him once. We have a huge and varied body of his work to remember him with.
