How about that Gabriel? A pastor of a church locking his flock out of the building, allowing them to be attacked by zombies?

How's that for a good shepherd?

    The book was much scarier.

way to fill an episode with 15 minutes of lame dialogue because the budget for zombie effects is being spent on the season premier.

what i DID like about the latest episode is that rick finally followed through with his word/rules/threat/etc. and butchered the piece of sh** cannibal as promised.

yes! Rick is back with a vengeance...the most realistic fighter in the group. he knows what has to be done...especially NOT leaving any loose ends!

At least he didn't rip the guy's throat out with his teeth.

The difference between this season and last season is, nobody in Rick's group minds a bit that Rich is the toughest SOB alive at the moment.

    1. How did they get all the zombies inside the school? Would pepper spray have worked on the zombies?
    2. Where are all the "Supersoakers" or water balloons that could have sprayed the zombies with gasoline from 30 feet away. Toss some firecrackers - game over. They had plenty of firecrackers and fireworks from the look-out sheds.
    3. Maybe Beth has just been cruising around in the car because the guy has a great sound system in his car.
    4. The previews of coming shows looks really hokey in Beth's rescue scenes.
    5. They also look like they may take multiple shows to finally tell the whole story.
    6. With all the bad guys killed in the church, what do you suppose the odds are the school zombies have finally broken through that one cracked glass panel?
    7. Any more dumb question that don't have to be answered to make the story scoot along mindlessly as it tends to do.

I always thought a couple of good military flame-throwers would have come in handy back at the prison when they needed to clear the fence.

As we saw with the huge fire in the woods last season and the gas tank explosion this, flames don't stop the zombies, if anything they make them more of a threat as they can both bite and burn, obviously you'd need something that burned so hot it incinerated them instantly, we did see what appeared to be napalm being dropped on Georgia in a flashback scene, but that obviously didn't work else they'd not be in this situation now.

You'd have to aim for their heads. I'm pretty sure a zombie couldn't continue with a cooked brain stem.

See my above comment about Glen and Maggie. Not clear how they feel, IMO.
