"Big Sister's Clothes" - 1983

 

Terrific performance!

There are EC fans who will argue that, like Dylan, his lapses underscore his greatness because they humanize him, but there's no excuse for that sweater whatsoever.

 

This excellent clip is from one of my favorite tv appearances that I used to have on VHS back in the day - Swedish tv where he's doing "Shabby Doll" :



I wonder if there was any more songs aired from that performance - I want them!! It's actually from 1984, I think...

 

These are great! It's kind of crazy how much of a difference Bruce Thomas makes. The Imposters may as well be a completely different band. It's too bad Elvis and Bruce couldn't patch it up because no one has ever, or will ever, compliment his songs like the original Attractions.

Now that I look, I see that 2 of the above mentioned Swedish tv clips, Peace In Our Time and Big Sister's Clothes are on this dvd - it's been a long time since I've watched it!

Too bad Shabby Doll isn't on it as well.
