The harmonies between Paul & George are beautiful.
Does George feels bored? Ringo's telling Paul he is glad to share this moment with them...
    What about George?

Paul is being his usual irritating self and trying to dominate. George is not impressed.

Y'know, it strikes me that they're just being themselves, which I think really says something about how comfortable they could still be with each other. There's a camera rolling and someone's playing an instrument, so naturally Paul is on, and George seems to be sitting there sort of scowling and ambivalent, but he's the one who's playing the instrument which is creating the frame for Paul to do his Paul thing. I presume George is the one who chose to play Ain't She Sweet since he obviously know the chords well - and he's really killing it on the ukulele, so I bet part of scowl comes from concentrating on his hands. And Ringo's glad they're playing with him.

It would be really interesting to see a film of Paul and George interacting with each other without having the knowledge that they were being filmed.

How about Paul just being himself and George is at his usual irritating 'grumpy-old-man'-mode. I'M not impressed by that. It has always been beyond me how people find it cool that he had that constantly negative attitude torwards everything.

You can tell. Paul seems like he was happy being with the other two and still happy to be a Beatle again.

    Agree.
But I think George is content in this situation, it's relaxed, and laid back. He's got a uke and not a guitar. I think he's ok with it. Just my take on it.
    And, I love this bit.

Perhaps it's better shown during "Dehradun" where Paul is cloying and annoying.

Just three old friends doing what they like doing together. Magic.

I don't think he's being grumpy there. He wasn't nicknamed "stone face" for nothing, and you can clearly see him smiling at points.

I'm kind of tired of this constant assumption that if you're not the type of person to constantly be jumping around and being bubbly for the camera, you're not enjoying yourself.

I agree with bewareofchairs and Rfreeman, George seems pretty content. I don't get an "annoyed" vibe at all.

The only thing I don't like is Paul acting slightly smug to George. Sometimes when he and George were together it was kind of awkward.

I've always felt there was some tension between George and Paul in this reunion. A shame, really. since there shouldn't have been. George, as always, seemed most ill-at-ease.

They all look happy and natural, George just looks a bit more concentrated while playing on this small tricky thing.

Then again, I think there are other reunion moments where George seems more relaxed... such as when they're with George Martin listening to the playbacks at the control panel.

Clearly we all see what we want to see (it's human nature), and I personally see what jeatleboe mentions above, some tension between Paul and George. Wish that had not been the case.

As a side note, I really enjoy the interview portions in 'Anthology' with George - he is very candid, straight-forward and seems to tell it like it is. In comparison, Paul seemed to have a tendency to sugar-coat things or put a spin on them.

There's this interview that says something like that:

    From about 3:32 onwards.

It's a bit harsh on Paul and Ringo I think.

I always loved that quote from George in that interview. And the way in which he says it is very touching.

So much over analysis of the clip. They were playing and talking together. Isn't that enough?

I love what George does at 5:56 here.

I wish they released George's full version of that song. :p
