So, can we expect the "DeLuxe Edition" featruing the whole show to come out in about 6 months time, or a BluRay release of the entire gig that doesn't make it to CD or DVD??

The ignore list is an excellent function provided by the forum administration.

It's easy to ignore one user but you still have to wade through a lot of posts quoting and referencing that user to get to the posts that are actually interesting.
Also I'm sure that JAG (to use him as an example) is sometimes posting interesting things too that I don't want to miss.
I just don't like his threadcrapping in every other Yes thread.

I have been visiting this forum for many years, but recently joined as a member. Thank you for the heads up on that function! It will come in handy.

As for this release, I am looking forward to hearing an official live document of the Going For The One album in it's entirety.

My set arrived today and I really like the first CD (GOING FOR THE ONE). It's a helluva nice sounding recording, too. Plus, the Japanese set includes a bonus track ("Roundabout").

    Blu-ray Disc tonight!

Such a shame, I would buy something from 1971 through perhaps 1975. I guess I'm just an old fuddy duddy. What if the stones were touring with just Keith and charlie and they had some 20 year old guy prancing around the stage? Personally I wouldn't buy any videos of the current Stones either.

    1. The Japanese Blu-Ray Disc/2-CD set has everything I need in one convenient non-Digipak package.
    2. I dunno.

"Yes is a cover band" people:

Yes we know how you feel...you say it immediately (and REPEATEDLY) anytime a Yes thread comes up. We get it. Can't the rest of us discuss them without the threadcrapping? Just one little time? It's as if you feel that drowning everyone out with your opinion will somehow cause the "old Yes" to reform and automatically start playing like they are 20 again. I'm not saying you can NEVER complain...but that's all some of you EVER do. C'mon...give it a rest just once...pretty please?

Nobody has "stolen" your old Yes memories from your mind. You haven't been hurt in any way by them continuing on. You don't have to listen...and "new Yes" threads are easy to ignore.

And yet the three of them still drop into every Yes thread to remind all of the rest of us that they simply can't stand that there's a current version of Yes that records and tours, and it's not the lineup that is allowed to be Yes.

CORRECTION: There IS a vinyl release. It wasn't advertised on Yes' website for some reason.

Very happy. The current lineup sounds great. Really looking forward to this release.

Just preordered the LPs. I was hoping to have a break from purchasing new albums, oh well.

I'm guessing they saved Close to the edge and will include the CTTE songs with another live set in a year or so from the current tour..(Fragile, CTTE and a couple new songs)

It seems that Frontiers have adapted the same release plan as they did with Asia.

    · New Album "Omega" in 2011
    · 2010 tour CD/DVD in 2012
    · New Album "XXX" in 2012

    etc.
