Today it's Riding With Mary. Tomorrow it could be The Hungry Wolf or Motel Room in My Bed.

Impossible for me to answer; too many vying for that top spot.

Many good options, but gotta go with We're Desperate. I believe them. And monster drumming on there too.

True of all their records. DJ Bonebrake (and it delights me no end that unlike everyone else in the band, that really was his real name!) is an absolutely ****-hot drummer.

One of my favorite bands, hard to choose only one... "Under The Big Black Sun" because it deals with the tragic death of Cervenka's sister, a tribute and a great performance by the entire band in communion with Cervenka's grief.

My favorite X song is the whole Los Angeles album...

Johnny Hit and Run Pauline seems to be the obvious choice for best song. ? But also Sex and Dying in High Society and The World's a Mess. And the song Los Angeles. And...

On a related note I saw them last year opening for Blondie and kind of wish I hadn't... LOVE their records but they didn't really hold up well live all these years later...
