Do you eat bamboo shoots? You can harvest them in spring. But you may need to keep the bamboos under control. They grow and spread all over.

Beautiful room and equip! Enjoy. my room looks like the worst dorm room you ever saw after one of THOSE parties-you know the ones. Ah well, it is safely tucked away in a corner of the lower level of the house and allowed to fester unmolested-think of the dorm room after the RA fled in disgust, resignation or terror!

I was only joking so I added the winking emoticon. I would take a modern TT like your Brinkmann plus Graham over an idler drive. I used to like that sound at one point, but prefer a more neutral source these days.

I would like to propose, in a good-natured way, a mascot for the Shindos....

ok there is 2k. 32k to go. Too pricey for my tastes. I wish I never bought the VPI table and purchased the SHL5+s instead. Oh well.

these were traded in by someone trading up, so I got them for A LOT less.

Very cool. I didn't know Shindo made speakers. I never heard one, but I like the look of their tube amps.

Best part is I can trade these in and get 100% credit when I'm ready to trade up. I definitely want the Field Coil Latours one day. Ditto for the pre amp. Getting the VR now and maybe trade up for the Giscours later.

It's almost like doing a payment plan for the the really nice stuff while borrowing the dealer's equipment for a yearbor two. Smart business though as it allows others to move up and I bet most of the trade ins get moved before they're ever actually traded.

Listening to Bitches Brew now. Sweetness.

Brian - congrats on your new place and setup. Good to see you finally got everything setup thevway you want. Here's hoping for NO more weird troubleshooting issues.

Thanks man. I've got a few room treatment issues that a little DIY and experimentation should solve, but so far so good.
