I still remember the medley of the Jack And Jill "record" all these years later. :)

That's great! Did the tonearm also double as a shovel for making sand castles? :)

Yes, but afterwards all the records sounded very gritty.

hard to tell from that photo, but I think your VTA is off a bit. sounds better nose down.

and please don't cheap out on cables. phono signals are particularly sensitive to EFI, civil unrest and general bad room mojo

I was kind of thinking the VTA was off too! Those look like some amazingly deep groove discs!!!! I imagine you could upgrade it with some new Duracell-Quantums.

Had the same one as a kid! Just bought one of those on ebay a couple of months ago for my first child. At 4 months he seems to really enjoy it!

How is the mastering on Jack and Jill? A guy offered me a hot stamper for $550. I'm thinking of going for it.

I couldn't believe the difference when I replaced the Stock Fisher-Price stylus with a JICO SAS.

Found the JICO picked up too much surface noise, even after the Spin Clean.

I think Origin Live do an SME armboard for the Fisher Price Transcriptiondek you have there. I'd consider an off-board power supply too...

May I then suggest using a Betty Croker easy Bake oven.I have had excellent results as a power supply for my own Fisher Price turntable.

I agree with moving to an external power source I would recommend a vintage fisher 924 from 1977.
