Same here plus the Springsteen box.

 

Over the last week I bought myself the Beatles MONO vinyl reissues.... so I guess I can cross THAT off the Christmas list.

On the other hand, maybe a backup set would be nice.

 

Pink Floyd's Momentary Lapse of Reason box has been purchased, but I can't open it until Christmas...

 

I won't be getting anything--my wife thinks I have too many as it is (she's right) I'll get myself something a few weeks later after I pay the bills for the kids' stuff.

 

Volumes five and six of The Complete Sun Singles, and maybe some Amazon credit.

 

The Long Ryders, State of our reunion.. Or the Bing Crosby LP.

I also want a Pink Floyd Box set but can't decide between Oh By The Way or the Discovery box - any recommendations from someone who has them ?

 

I wanted the Johnny Cash American Recordings vinyl box, but that's apparently not coming out until February now.

 

Music wise, maybe an ultra rare 80's CD or something.

Nothing much, just going to listen to the stuff I bought this year. Last Christmas I found a signed copy of Our Man In Paris by Dexter Gordon, Blue Note New York labels and in good nick. Nothing's gonna top that (well maybe a signed copy of Thelonious In Action).

 

The kids will be buying me the new Floyd CD. I've avoided hearing it up to now; less than a month to go.

 

Acoustic Sounds are issuing their excellent pressing of Tea For The Tillerman on 2x45rpm vinyl. Good enough for me.
