I'll go with the Coventry Carol. My favorite version is that performed by Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians on their 1955 LP Christmas Time, which sadly has never been released on CD.

 

Almost 10 years ago, I had something really special going on with this girl, but I somehow managed to totally **** it up in the end. I sometimes look back at that time today, and again realize how special it was. This was one of her favourite songs. It will always be "her song".
