I've never had a favorite song of all time, or even a favorite album of all time

its easy...just ask the question: which 1 album would you take if you were on a deserted island and could only listen to 1 record for ever and ever?

  2. I could tell you about my all-time favourite pair of shoes, my favourite tropical island, my favourite Tokyo subway line even, but music, film, novel or artwork? Not a chance. You may as well ask me about my favourite dog.

I think you're over thinking it. You don't need to sign up with an all time favorite song/album and literally have it tattooed as permanent. Think of it as... this is my favorite right now. Right now I'd rather hear nothing more than this song.

Once upon a time, all I cared about was the Beatles. No other band mattered. Still love them. But they are now a small part musical arsenal. And I remember my Beatle years fondly.

It's okay to change. It's encouraged, even. Variety is the spice of life. Over a lifespan, I hope you've eaten and digested many songs/albums/styles/genres. You'll appreciate it, looking back and recalling the times and places and songs you've shared your life with.

"Flying Hour" - George Harrison (the version intended for release in 1980, not the 1987-88 remix).

It's been my all time favorite since I first heard it in February, 1983.

    Same here.

I'll always return to Who's Next, Abbey Road, In Utero, Pet Sounds and other standards, but it's impossible to make a call on those and many, many others.

  9. I was never a big fan of poodles, they tend to bite when you turn your back on them, but I've grown quite fond of them in recent years, my neighbour has a pair who are adorable.

  10. Who the hell would want to do that?

Lived with poodles since 1983, never had one bite, whether facing front or facing back! :)

yes if you could pretend to put yourself in this situation the album will be revealed to you.

  15. I think I might have come across this scenario before, keep your knickers on.

  16. You have discovered the secret of poodle rearing! I think in my case it was just an old grouchy dog who wasn't used to strangers. As a breed they seem pretty friendly, as with all dogs it's down to owner behaviour.

When I was about 15 I decided The Endless Enigma by Emerson Lake & Palmer was my favourite song. When I was 17 I decided Happy Together by The Turtles was my favourite song. Not until 2004 was my favourite song changed. Keep On Breathing by The Delgados is now my favourite song.

My favourite album is probably Yes' Relayer, followed by Queen's Queen II.

As for a favourite song, it's far too difficult to pick just one.

The song. If I had been trippin' the sound of the car runnin' might sound like God.

Man, if I really knew how to train dogs, my Yorkie poodle Putty wouldn't still be so crazy!

She's the only aggressive dog I've ever owned, but not with people - she's just mean to other dogs. She's the most "alpha" dog I've ever known...
