I'd be drunk and obnoxious, too, if a movie I probably could have had a large slice of opened at $100M the first weekend.

    You Can’t Replace Dynamite
    [IMG]

[Blind Gossip] We can’t answer the question as to why this actor is usually such a jerk. However, we can answer the question about why he has been particularly out of control lately.

    His ego.

He came of age as a star. With a recent film opening came the harsh reality that his star has fallen and that he is replaceable. His friends say that he “goes back and forth between depression and lots of crazy activity that eventually turns into a drinking session.” Unfortunately, “He just isn’t capable of having a drink or two to relax.” They say that he has actually been rampaging for the past two or three weeks, drinking and swearing and arguing, and that it isn’t just a coincidence that this all happened while the film was opening.

“He said that ‘they’ are going to be sorry” that they replaced him because he is “still the biggest f*cking star on the planet” and that the fans “are with me on this.” He also claims that when the film flops the producers “are going to come crawling back to me” because “you can’t replace dynamite with geriatric.”

No, it doesn’t make much sense, but, then again… neither does he.

So in a new interview he talked about what happened during #IAMSORRY...

    ....WTF...

    >>>

"What kinds of connections did you form with people during #IAMSORRY? (An event in February, in which LaBeouf silently met members of the public one by one for five days in an LA gallery.)

Shia LaBeouf: Almost everyone who came in had
preconceived notions of what they were going to experience, and as soon as Nastja Rönkkö brought them through the curtain, everything changed.
I went from being a celebrity or object to a fellow human. I was genuinely remorseful. It wasn’t manipulation, I was heartbroken. People I’ve never met before came
in and loved on me and with me. Some would hold my hand and cry with me, some would tell me to ‘figure it out’ or to ‘be a man’.
I’ve never experienced love like
that; empathy, humanity.

Still, there were others who came in with an agenda they couldn’t let go of. Some folks would come in, take my bag off, pop off a selfie and bounce. That felt terrible.

Did any experiences stand out to you as particularly moving or unsettling?

Shia LaBeouf: One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me… There were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with dishevelled hair and smudged lipstick. It was no good, not just for me but her man as well. On top of that my girl was in line to see me, because it was Valentine’s Day and I was living in the gallery for the duration of the event – we were separated for five days, no communication. So it really hurt her as well, as I guess the news of it travelled through the line. When she came in she asked for an explanation, and I couldn’t speak, so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently. It was painful."

He should marry Hilary Duff. Just so she could go double barrel on the surname.

I used to like him when he was on Even Stevens many years ago. It's a shame that he's a jerk now.

He was perfect in Nymphomaniac, where he plays a real A**hole. Good thing some directors know how to utilize big name actors.

Dude is obviously on some serious drugs. Coke? Something else? Not even kidding.

What's the context for this, though?
