When is iTunes gonna support Flac format? Is it gonna be when they support Blu-Ray players in their computers?

^Probably never. They want people to use ALAC.

I use xrecode. It seems to work just fine. I don't know how it stacks up to other options listed here.

Foobar with the ipod plugin, where you can send them straight to it.

I am an old fogey....but have used foobar as a player for years and love it to bits.....I send my flac/hi-res files via a dac to my arcam amp,and then to my B&W's....could not ask for more from what is essentially budget equipment....BUT.....I also have an Ipod touch that I load the same tracks to via Itunes....and would love to ditch it and use( as mentioned) Foobar to do it.I s there an "easy" guide out there to help me do it,as I have always struggled with Foobar plug ins ?

Foobar...because it's harder to use than Dbpoweramp. So it must be better!!:p
