Very catchy song. You could imagine Kylie Minogue singing that straight!

The proper use of a Theremin, as seen on TOTP! -

I've been rewatching a DVD of Bottom (one the BBC comedy series that Adrian Edmondson and the late Rik Mayall co-wrote and appeared in, following The Young Ones.) It has, as a bonus feature, some of the 'fluffs' (or bloopers.) They were really terrible when they forgot a line or something distracted them - they'd totally 'lose' it. :D And the thing is, they'd run with it and the audience would be in hystericsl they language they'd use would be untransmittable in the original shows for one thing! Just the same as their live stage shows - definitely for adults only and when they'd lose the thread, you'd wonder how on earth they ever found their place and carried on, once again. :agree:

It did on my appreciation of the show (maybe because I was only little anyway - if I was in my teens or something, it could have been very different :shh:) and these cheap 'cover' albums that sold by the ton, look as if they took some inspiration from them (or vice versa) or was it just because "...well, it WAS the seventies...."? :D

I used to be gutted though, when they'd announce a song by someone I'd liked and instead of seeing them in the studio (miming or not) I'd have to sis through it, hoping they didn't play it right to the end!

And Maiden said they totally messed it up due to someone turning the sound right down for the performance and ruined the appearance (still sounds great to me) and because of this never did TOTP's again until the 2000's !!
