Alright...a live '71 Purple album. I saw them in mid July of that year in Miami and they were awesome. They did a couple Fireball songs that night...SKOW and " No One Came".

Wow that must have been cool. I would love to hear a clean version of No One Came performed live in 1971. I think I have heard it on some youtube bootleg but I´m not sure.

Those Edel/EarMusic releases so far as sonics have been poor. I'm thinking this trend will continue unfortunately.

I´m glad I didn´t buy Graz 75. I´m waiting for the MK III final concerts box set next year. Hopefully it will have the entire gig with a better sound. Someone has to tell this Edel guys to clean they ears before they do the mastering please!

Great news for sure. Even greater, would have been to include the '73 show at Long Beach.

I was trying to remove the cobwebs of my mind. I believe Fleetwood Mac and Buddy Miles were on the undercard at the 1973 Deep Purple show at the Long Beach Arena.

That would be the ultimate archive release. It is supposed to be the best show from the 73 tour. Wonder where the f**** are those tapes.

Should be noticed that these tapes are supposed to be a soundboard and not real multitracks. Interesting to know that Edel will also release soundboards (as the original Zonic Zoom series was intended). The previous releases from the Edel collection were all multitracks: Paris, Copenhagen (or was it a film feed?), Stockholm, Graz.

That sounds right. For me (in Fresno) it was Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac and Rory Gallagher.

I've got a bootleg of this show on the Darker Than Blue label. It says it's a soundboard recording , but I thought it was an audience tape. Glad to see an official release though; count me in!

Zen do you remember Rory Gallagher's performance? Not to change subjects but how was Rory's performance in a historical sense?

Not really; but I thought he was very good and I always would watch him on T.V. (ie: In Concert) after that.
