Your favorite episode of Twilight Zone?

Do you guys feel that the movie Poltergeist II rips off the episode "Long Distance Call", or do you feel that it's more of an homage? I'm talking about the whole "talking to your grandma on the phone" element.

 

recently watched "Living Doll"...the bonus interview feature on this is great! check it out if you have the DVD or BR!

 

"The Howling Man"...scared the crap out of me as a kid.

 

after nearly completing the complete series I find there isn't a clunker in the bunch...amazing track record for this timeless show...

 

love the change as he's walking down the hall! scary, yes!

 

I'd say a homage to those in the know of the TZ...

The Midnight Sun. This is the one when earth's orbit changes and moves closer to the sun until everyone dies from the heat. Of course the there is a twist to the ending.

 

Eye Of The Beholder or To Serve Man......it's a toss up.

Errr....maybe it's "Walking Distance".

One of those. Can't decide.

 

I forget the name of the episode but it's the one with the woman in bandages, she's normal looking. All the other people are ugly.

Amazing series! Cutting edge at its time and still relevant now.

I can't decide. The ones posted so far are great.

I was born in the late 50's and remember actually playing "Kick the Can" as a kid growing up.

That episode strikes a chord....more so that I am much older.

 

The one where everything seems fine, except at the end it turns out the people were part of a little girls playhouse (or something similar).

 

"Walking Distance"
I was so affected by a story of longing for the security of childhood, at nine years old it was more than I bargained for on a Friday night.
Gig Young was outstanding as was Rod Serling's voice over during Young's breakdown in the park. I don't recall any other episodes that had one in the middle of the episode.

 

It's A Good Life


This is a good episode. It's a REALLY good one...and it's real good that I posted this episode.

 

Right genre, wrong series. It's from the Outer Limits.

That's my father's favorite episode. I watched it and it just didn't click. Maybe because I'm on the younger side.
My mother's favorite is Bewtichin' Pool for sentimental reasons.

That's actually the first episode I saw. It'll always hold a special place in my heart.
