Crosy, Stills & Nash - first album ("Suite: Judy Blue Eyes")

    The rest is a snooze-fest.

I would not think live albums suit this thread, but understand your opinion.

Yes - 90125 - sure to get flamed but for me "Owner of a Lonely Heart" mars an otherwise utterly mediocre record.
Radiohead - "Creep" is the only good thing on Pablo Honey

Eddie Grant's Killer on the Rampage has exactly one great song - "Electric Avenue." The rest of it sucks hard.

Aerosmith's Done with Mirrors. "Let the Music Do the Talking" is the only decent song on this album. And it was a remake of a song from the Joe Perry Project.

Krokus - Midnight Maniac. Their spirited cover of the Sweet's Ballroom Blitz is the only fun moment on this album.

Saxon - Crusader. The only thing to recommend this album is their cover of the Sweet's "Set Me Free."

Lou Reed: Metal Machine Music. Only tracks 1 and 3 are any good.

If I added 'it can happen' to 'owner' I am in agreement.

Poco 7 - the opening track (Driving Wheel) ranks with their best. The rest of the album is pretty dull (especially side 2).

Jethro Tull - Minstrel in the Gallery - love the title track, but never cared for the rest of the album.

The only part of Relayer I really like is the Soon bit at the end of The Gates of Delirium. And the only track I liked off Tormato was the first one.

I'd bet that most songs I like are in the one-good-song-off-a-mediocre-LP category. The first one I thought of was The Land / Rainy Sunday Evening off the second Ramatam LP. Glorious song, nothing much good about most of the rest.

We're An American Band - great single, crummy album.

  23. If you like 80s hard rock then the title track and "Out of Control" were solid as well.

I really like Poco Seven. I like a\the four songs that make up side two, but there are probably too many ballads together. The version of "Angel" on Poco Live sure gives a different perspective on the song.
