  2. Bump.

Anybody get this bonus disc yet? Download only or physical disc? If download, FLAC or MP3?

The bonus disc is packaged with the cd. I heard it today in my local indie...not my cup of tea (and I've been a Mule fan for almost 20 years) but it will appeal to a lot of the core fans. It has that fusion sound...

  4. Thanks for the info about the bonus CD. Now that I know it is an actual physical CD, I wish I had pre-ordered it to get the bonus disc.

If someone could help me out getting the set with the bonus disc, I would appreciate it. I will cover the related cost (for CD + shipping/packaging etc.).

Really enjoying the "Sco-Mule" release. My favorite Mule release to date.

    Listening now, I may agree!

I'll say that I think it's definitely one of, if not the best, "sounding." I can't believe how much I'm able to actually crank a Mule/Haynes recording. This is the cd, mind you. I bet the vinyl sounds amazing.

Helluva deal: $10, Amazon Prime shipped....for 2 discs that sound great! Sturdier than the Floyd set.

So that's 11 tracks on 2 CDs ? I've yet to receive mine . Seems it takes a few days for UPS MI to hand a package to the USPS less than 20 miles away. I pre ordered from their site in November.
So, for $14.99, I got a 3rd disc with bonus tracks, arriving on the back of a turtle.
But the 2 disc set is $7.99 at Amazon, where I have Prime !?!?!?!

Oh ! And I now see where I paid sales tax on the shipping !?!?!?!?!?
This better be one helluva bonus disc for $15.00 !!!!

Thanks for the heads up on the 7.99. I just got the 2.01 refund over "live chat."

I feel your pain regarding the Music Today orders. I got it at a great price, but sort of regret not getting the 3rd disc...especially after hearing the first two. Top notch release.

Let my feelings be known on their Facebook page. $15.00 difference is stiff ! Not kidding, next time I wait for Amazon.
Music Today can kiss my ass.

  11. But you have the bonus disc, wish I had gotten that. Would buy the bonus disc for $15, would love to hear the extra tracks.

I have only listened to the bonus disc so far, but sounded very compressed to me.

Of course it's compressed. I never said it wasn't.

I own the entire catalog. By comparison to the last several, and certainly Dark Side, it sounds great!

I don't really care, actually. It's Mule. :righton:

It is all a matter of degree with Gov't Mule. I agree this one has better sound quality than some. I thought Dark Side was also an improvement over some of their CDs. But the music itself is amazing.

Man, I want the LP version. I might have to pick this one up.

Exactly. The bonus 3rd disc is approx. 45 minutes long, and Freeway Jam alone was worth my prior aggravation.

I saw that. I was under the impression that since the bonus was for preorders, that I'd end up with another standard copy?

I see the description is all the same, so I'll just order it. Thanks!

Sco Mule may be some of the best live mule I've heard. Woody and Sco, good grief what a band.

Sco-Mule just arrived here in the UK. Loving it, although I think it's the first time I've bought a single CD with a bonus disc AND a pre-order bonus disc.......

This release it worth it just for the Afro Blue. All I can say is just wow...speechless after that jam. Wish I got in on that bonus disc. If anyone can help a brother out on that I'd be most appreciative.
